Madison Lynn Peru, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after she was accused of attacking her 72 year-old grandmother.
Reports said that the victim was left with visible injuries to her right forearm.
Police added that Peru also attacked a second female when she attempted to help the elder victim.. She is accused of pulling her hair and causing a bald spot.
A four-year-old child was present and witnessed the attacks, which occurred at a home on Wilbanks Road.
Peru is charged with two counts battery and cruelty to children.
