A 50-year-old Rome woman was arrested this week after authorities say she caused mental distress to her elderly mother during an incident at their home.
According to reports, Kimberly Joyce Perry allegedly confronted her 78-year-old mother, screaming and cursing while getting in her face. The incident occurred at a residence on Nan Lee Drive.
Police said that when they arrived on the scene they found the victim ” visibly shaking and smoking multiple cigarettes.
Perry has been charged with exploitation and intimidation of the elderly, officials said.
