Ricky Lamar Heath, 58 of Decatur, was arrested in Rome after reports said he attempted to pay for merchandise at Academy Sports with a counterfeit $100 bill.
Reports said that the forgery occurred on Black Friday.
Heath is charged with first degree forgery.
