Joshua Lee Santiago, 48 of Brooklyn, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he exploited an elder adult by taking $5,000 from their bank account.
Reports said that Santiago identified himself as the victim attempting to get information so that he could withdraw the cash. Santiago allegedly used the victim’s ID card to make the withdrawl at a local bank.
Santiago is charged with identity fraud and exploitation of the elderly.
