Jose Luis Muniz-Pinon, 24 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he caused a wreck while driving under the influence.
Reports said that Muniz-Pinon left the roadway in his vehicle and a mailbox before running into a ditch. Police added that Muniz-Pinon was injured in the wreck but never called 911 to report the accident.
Muniz-Pinon is charged with DUI, failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions and duty to report an accident.
