Floyd County Jail Inmate Found with Synthetic Marijuana

An inmate at the Floyd County Jail is now facing additional charges after reports said he was found with synthetic marijuana.

Officers said that they found a rolled piece of paper containing synthetic marijuana while they were conducting a search of his cell.

Reynolds was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drugs by an inmate.

An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Joshua Reynolds, 24 of Rome, is facing new charges after reports said he attacked another person with a wheelchair.

Reports said that Reynolds kicked the wheelchair at the victim, striking him with it. Authorities did not say who the wheelchair belonged to or injuries that occurred.

Reynolds is charged with simple battery and unlawful acts in a penal institution.
