The Cave Spring Community Coalition, in collaboration with First Baptist Church of Cave Spring, is stepping up to meet the needs of local families during adifficult time. While the Northwest Georgia Charter Academy works to meet the educational needs of children and families, the Coalition recognizes that many in our community are also facing growing food insecurity—especially those who have recently lost SNAP benefits.
Thanks to the generosity of local donors, the Coalition has received funding to provide nutritious food boxes to affected families. The food will be purchased by the Cave Spring Community Coalition, and distribution will take place at First Baptist Church of Cave Spring on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Families in need can simply drive up, show their SNAP card, and receive a box of simple but nourishing food—no additional paperwork or registration required.
“This partnership reflects what makes our community so special,” said Judy Taylor, Northwest Georgia Charter Academy, Board Chair, “When we see a need, we come together to take care of one another.”
The Cave Spring Community Coalition remains committed to supporting the health and well-being of local families, ensuring that every child has access to both educational opportunities and basic necessities.
