April Lea Howard-Curtis, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole a candle warmer and a bag of candy from Five Below on Hicks Drive.
Police said that the items were valued t $31.70.
Officers added that when they located Howard-Curtis she was driving a car on a suspended license.
Howard-Curtis is charged with theft by shoplifting and driving on an expired license.
