John Wesley Sullivan, 67 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he refused to pay for work done to his vehicle.
Police said that Sullivan obtained services from M&E Tires and Auto Repair and then failed to pay the $234.19 balance.
The business said that Sullivan avoided answering their calls, but the time he did answer he made statements of refusing to pay.
Sullivan was located by police driving on Porter Street and was pulled over in order to serve the warrant. Officers added that during the stop, they located an open can of Bud Light in his vehicle.
Sullivan is charged with theft of service, driving on a suspended license, open container and driving without insurance.
