Devin Corey Jones, 40 of Martinez, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to report his move from Rome back in August.
Reports said that Jones, who was convicted of statutory rape in 2002, failed to report to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office within 72 hours of his release from the Floyd County Jail.
Jones was also convicted of failing to register back in 2021 and 2025.
Jones is charged with failure to register as a sex offender and probation violation.
