A convicted felon, Roger Carter Weems, 39 of Lindale, was taken into custody at his home on Old Cedartown Road after police said they found numerous firearms in his possession.
Weems is now allowed to be in possession of firearms due to his previous charges. A search this week resulted in law enforcement finding five guns in his home.
Weems is charged with possession of firearm by a convicted felon and probation violation.
