Caton Randall Williams, 59 of Rome, a convicted sex offender, was jailed in Rome for not registering with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
Reports said that Williams failed to notify authorities within 72 hours of his move from Tumlin Drive to an unspecified location back in August.
Williams was convicted of child molestation in Hall County back in 1998.
Williams is charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
