Residents of Rome, Georgia were left in shock Tuesday afternoon after beloved local pizza maker, Chef Marco, was “arrested” on charges that can only be described as cheesy
According to a reports, Chef Marco was taken into custody at his West Rome restaurant, located at 2206 Shorter Avenue, after investigators determined he was guilty of: Distribution of dangerously delicious pizza, Possession of prices too low for human comprehension and Intent to deliver unbeatable flavor without parole.

Their findings confirmed suspicions: crispy crust, gooey cheese, and toppings stacked higher than the 5th Avenue courthouse steps.

“We had no choice,” said Rome City Police Officer Cook. “When the pepperoni hits that perfect sizzle, and you’ve got deals like the Pepperoni Magnificianto for $12.99.
Patrons protested outside as Marco was “led away” in handcuffs. One customer shouted, “If loving this pizza is wrong, we don’t want to be right!”
While officials say Marco could face “life sentences” of rave reviews, locals expect him to be back behind the oven by the weekend.
In fact, the judge presiding over the case has already requested a supreme pizza, extra mushrooms, for deliberations.
For now, Chef Marco remains guilty of having the best deals and tastiest pizza in Rome.
