Rome Man Jailed for Stealing Mail at Home Around Swan Lake Mobile Home Park

Jeremy Gaskin, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole mail out of various boxes around the Swan Lake mobile home park.

Police said that Gaskin stole mail from four separate homes before damaging the mailboxes.  The damages done were listed at over $500.

Gaskin is also accused of discharging a firearm in the subdivision back on September 31^st, around 2 am.

Gaskin is charged with four counts theft by taking from a mailbox, 14 counts theft by taking government property, reckless conduct and interference with government property.
