Michael Alamia, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he fled from officers who were attempting to take him into custody on a failure to appear warrant.
Reports said that the incident occurred at his home on Calhoun Avenue.
Alamia is charged with obstruction of police and two counts failure to appear.
