James Thomas Lewis Jr, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found selling drugs at Rhonda’s store on Cave Spring Road.
Police said that Lewis was found with a bag containing a digital scale and marijuana inside. Lewis then allegedly admitted that he was there attempting to sell drugs.
After arriving at the Floyd County Jail, reports added that he was found in possession of three little blue pills that was identified as a schedule IV controlled substance.
Lewis is charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, possession of drugs by an inmate and probation violation.
