Adarius Malik Orr, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he forced his way into an apartment on Reynolds Street with the intent to commit a burglary.
Police stated that Orr caused close to $500 in damages to the door while forcing his way inside.
Reports went on to state that two children were at home at the time of the burglary
Orr is charged with first degree burglary, criminal trespass and two counts 3rd degree cruelty to children.
