A 45 year-old homeless Rome woman, Mary Ann Hill, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked a 33 year-old man with a knife near Scooter’s Coffee on Shorter Avenue.
Police said that Hill brandished the knife during an argument and then proceeded to chase him.
After authorities arrived, they stated that they found marijuana and two smoking devices containing meth residue in Hill’s backpack.
Hill is charged with simple assault, possession of marijuana and two counts possession of drug related objects.
