Justin Antiono Dunlap, 38 of Gay, was arrested this week after reports said he conspired to sneak drugs into the Floyd County Prison.
Reports said that Dunlap was recorded on telephone calls to deliver one pound of pipe tobacco, ten packs of rolling papers and five sheets of paper soaked in “strips” to a trashcan near Riverview Park so that an inmate, Maundarious Gartae Hall, could smuggle them inside.
Officers added that the contraband was recovered before it could be retrieved.
Dunlap is charged with items prohibited by an inmate.
