Cedartown High School volleyball is making a serious impact this season, with several players earning impressive rankings both regionally and across the state.

Kinleigh Camp and Layla Jackson have been instrumental in the team’s success, holding strong positions at #5 and #6 in the region for assists. Both are also sitting among the top 35 in the entire 4A classification, ranked #33 and #35, respectively.

Meanwhile, Bella Rosser is making waves as the #25 hitter in the state for kills, ranking #7 in the region. Her power at the net is matched by fellow players Chloe Dingler, Michelle Bahena, Mary Kirsch, and Lola Gamel, who all sit in the top 21 in the region for kills, ranked #17 through #21.

But it’s not just their offensive skills that are standing out. Chloe Dingler and Bella Rosser have also been dominant in the serving department. Dingler remains #1 in the region for aces, while Rosser ranks #2. Nationally, they both stand in the top 10, with Dingler at #4 and Rosser at #7 in all of 4A.

One player who’s been turning heads in a different aspect of the game is Lexi Warren, who has emerged as a defensive powerhouse. Warren is ranked #49 in the entire state of Georgia for digs—an impressive achievement considering this includes every classification across the state.

Head Coach Austyn Shelton said that he is clearly proud of his players’ accomplishments. “This team has worked hard, and it’s paying off in the rankings. We have players excelling in multiple areas, and it’s exciting to see them getting the recognition they deserve.”

With such standout performances from their athletes, Cedartown High School volleyball looks set for a thrilling remainder of the season.
