Brandon Tyree Trimble, 42 of Adairsville, was arrested this week in Floyd County after reports said he was found with methamphetamine after driving drunk and high on GA 20 near Hillandale Drive.
Police said that they initiated the traffic stop after observing Trimble fail to maintain his lane. After pulling over, Trimble jumped out of his car and fled into the woods.
After being located, officers found Trimble to be in possession of methamphetamine. He also admitted to drinking alcohol and have been doing cocaine.
Trimble is charged with possession of meth, DUI, driving without a license, failure to maintain lane, impeding flow of traffic and obstruction.
