Tania Selena Ervin, 52 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said she lied to them in an investigation for shoplifting and a hit and run at Mount Berry Mall.
Police stated that they later found Ervin to have been a driver who struck a parked car and then fled the scene.
Ervin is charged with false statements and writings, obstruction and striking a parked car.
