Buddy DeWayne Langley, 48 of Trion, was arrested in Armuchee after reports said he placed his hands around the throat of his wife and proceeded to drag her from one location to another before slapping her with his hand.
Reports added that Langley also grabbed the throat of a 62-year-old man who was at the home and attempted to strangle him to death.
Langley then proceeded to grab a second woman and shove her backward.
Langley is also accused of threatening to kill the man and woman while lifting his shift to imply that he had a firearm in his possession.
The incident occurred at a home on Everett Springs Road.
Langley is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts battery, battery family violence, kidnapping, terroristic threats/acts, and 8 counts cruelty to children.
