A 74 year-old Rome man, Harry Leon Fritz, who had been convicted of kidnapping and forcing another person to commit sodomy back in 1984 has been jailed for failing to comply with sex offender rules.
Authorities said that Fritz failed to notify the Sheriff’s Office of his move from 410 East 19th Street to the Crown Inn Motel in Cedartown. Reports added that the move occurred in late July.
Fritz is charged with failure to register as a sex offender.
