Five inmates at Floyd County Prison are facing multiple charges after authorities say they were involved in a brutal gang-related assault inside the facility.
According to reports, the attack occurred in the bathroom area of Dorm 3 when inmate Freddy Lopez-Medina was confronted by Latrevious Jacqui Gilbert, 23, of Riverdale. A fight broke out, during which two others joined in. Shortly afterward, Marquez Talley, 23, of Montgomery, and Randrick Jemarcus Paulhill, 27, of Atlanta, entered the fray to assist Gilbert in assaulting Lopez.
Investigators say Paulhill placed Lopez in a chokehold, while Robert Lee Dismuke, 39, of Atlanta, arrived and began kicking the victim. When Paulhill released Lopez, Dismuke allegedly struck him on the head with a metal garbage can lid.
As the fight began to subside, officials report that Antonio Danty Williams, 24, of Milledgeville, approached Lopez from behind and stabbed him in the head with a homemade weapon, causing a puncture wound.
All five suspects were transferred to the Floyd County Jail and booked on multiple charges.
- Antonio Williams: Aggravated assault, unlawful acts in a penal institution, possession of prohibited items by an inmate, and participation in street gang activity.
- Robert Dismuke: Aggravated assault, unlawful acts in a penal institution, and participation in street gang activity.
- Marquez Talley: Battery, unlawful acts in a penal institution, and participation in street gang activity.
- Latrevious Gilbert: Battery, unlawful acts in a penal institution, and participation in street gang activity.
- Randrick Paulhill: Aggravated assault, unlawful acts in a penal institution, and participation in street gang activity.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident and whether it was connected to broader gang activity within the prison.
A sixth inmate Corey Leondrea Tower, 35 of Riverdale, was also arrested for the altercation. Reports said that Tower fashioned a weapon from a belt and combination lock with the intent to use it as a weapon. Reports said that Tower went to hit Lopez-Madina with it, but stopped before Williams stabbed him.

Tower is charged with items prohibited by an inmate.
