The Chattooga County Boys & Girls Club, a vital part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Georgia (BGC of NG), has been awarded a 2025 community grant from the Taco Bell Foundation—an exciting investment aimed at empowering teens in Chattooga County and beyond.

This generous funding will directly support the organization’s Total Teen Takeover Initiative, a dynamic program designed to provide young people with the tools, guidance, and resources they need to achieve success academically, personally, and professionally. While the initiative spans across four North Georgia counties—Chattooga, Gordon, Murray, and Whitfield—the impact in Chattooga will be especially meaningful as the Club continues to grow its reach and deepen its commitment to local youth.

“This grant is an amazing opportunity to provide our teens with programs that will open doors for them and help them look forward to the future,” said Robbie Slocumb, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Georgia. “We’re incredibly grateful to the Taco Bell Foundation and Team Tacala for believing in our mission and investing in the potential of our youth—especially here in Chattooga County.”

The Total Teen Takeover Initiative focuses on equipping teens with leadership development, career readiness training, academic support, and enriching extracurricular opportunities—ensuring they have every chance to succeed and thrive in life.

The grant comes during a record-breaking year for the Taco Bell Foundation, which awarded a historic $28 million in community grants to nearly 500 nonprofit organizations nationwide. These grants support organizations that champion youth empowerment and embrace bold, innovative approaches to creating brighter futures.
