Jonathan Dewayne Timms, 42 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week while attempting to use his brother’s identity in a traffic stop.

Police said that they stopped Timms on Turner McCall Blvd for driving without his headlights on when Timms gave officers the name of his brother as his own to avoid being arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Tims is charged with giving false information to police, driving on a suspended license and a headlight violation.
