Local authorities have arrested 29-year-old Hilda Antonia Lux Mateo in connection with two violent altercations involving the same victim. The arrest occurred on Townsley Drive after police responded to a report stemming from the most recent incident.
According to police reports, the first incident took place at a residence on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, where Lux Mateo and the victim were living together. During a heated argument in the kitchen, Lux Mateo allegedly brandished three kitchen knives, resulting in the victim sustaining a stab wound to the abdomen and a laceration to his left ring finger. The victim stated that Lux Mateo fled the scene after realizing the extent of the injuries.
The victim also reported a previous assault by Lux Mateo that occurred approximately one month earlier, during which she allegedly stabbed him in the wrist.
In a separate and more recent altercation, tensions reportedly escalated during a visit to a home on Mockingbird Drive while the victim was attempting to assist Lux Mateo in finding housing. Lux Mateo is accused of becoming enraged after seeing the victim receive a call from his ex-girlfriend. She then allegedly bit the victim multiple times and struck him with a cooking pan on the head and shoulder.
Following an investigation, Hilda Antonia Lux Mateo was taken into custody and now faces charges of aggravated assault related to the earlier stabbing and battery in connection with the more recent incident.
