Cody Scott Collins, of Summerville, was arrested this week after reports said he shoved his girlfriend’s head through a wall after an argument over him wanting to stay with his ex-wife.
The victim told police that she had been “at the lake, and after she came home she found out Cody tried to stay with his ex-wife the previous night”.
At that point, an argument ensued, and the victim went to grab his clothes to throw them. Collins then proceeded to repeatedly shove the woman to the floor.
During the altercatio,n the victim reportedly suffered a serious injury to her foot.
Collins then shoved the victim’s head through the wall and told her “It was because you tried to hit me”.
The victim then told police that she did swing at Collins, but missed.
The victim suffered visible injuries to the right side of her head and face.
Collins is charged with aggravated battery, battery, simple battery and criminal trespass.
