Robin Evette Easterling, 60 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she sprayed a Comcast worker with a water hose while yelling racial slurs at him.
Police added that when they arrived on scene, Easterling called the officer racial slurs as well.
Easterling then proceeded to go inside the home and close the door in an attempt to avoid officers. Easterling then allegedly fought with officers as they began to place her in handcuffs. The officer suffered numerous visible scratches from her actions.
Police then took Easterling to a local hospital where she continued to use “fighting words” and racial slurs toward the officer and medical staff.
Easterling is charged with two counts disorderly conduct, felony obstruction and simple battery against a police officer.
