Harold James Mantooth, 58 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly failed to register as a sex offender.
Reports said that Mantooth failed to report to a residential move on February 12 of this year. Also, he failed to notify authorities that he was fired from his job at Trusty Towing.
Also, on April 6, Mantooth failed to report to his yearly registration.
Mantooth is charged with three counts failure to register as a sex offender and two counts failure to appear.
