Harold James Mantooth, 58 of Rome, has been jailed for allegedly stealing and selling his neighbor’s dirt bike.
Police said that Mantooth stole the 50cc Honda dirt bike and then sold it for $300.
The bike that was stolen was later returned to its owner, and the person whom it was sold to was out of the cash.
Mantooth is charged with theft by deception.
