Wade Garrett Fountain, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after a drunken assault of a woman in front of two children.
Reports said that Fountain became aggressive while acting in a violent manner toward the woman while at the dinner table. The victim told police that Fountain was acting as if he was going to hit her, which placed her in fear of her safety.
Fountain then allegedly threw a bowl of food that the two children were going to eat against the wall
Fountain is charged with simple assault and 2 counts cruelty to children.
