Daryl Wayne Stamey Sr, 56 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he was found in possession of 23 explosive devices during a search of his home on Hull Avenue.
Reports stated that the search was done after Stamey was accused of stealing a 2005 Nissan Altima from the Circle K parking lot on Cartersville Highway back on May 24 of this year. The car was valued at $5,000.
Stamey is charged with theft by taking, and 23 counts of manufacture/distribute and possession with intent to distribute explosive devices.
