An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Muandarious Gartae Hall, 30 of Greenville, was jailed this week after reports said he conspired with another person to sneak drugs into the jail.
Reports said that Hall’s telephone conversation with another person was recorded, conspiring to sneak a pound of tobacco, ten packs of rolling papers and five sheets of “strips” into the prison.
Police said that Hall’s co-conspirator was to leave the contraband in a trashcan near the Riverview Park playground back on June 23rd.
Hall is charged with items prohibited by an inmate.
