Elisha Jane Weathers, 44 of McDonald, TN, was jailed in Cedartown this week after a wreck on June 22nd just after 4 pm.
Reports said that GA 1 and GA 100 in Cedartown when Weathers ran a traffic light and struck a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Donnie Ross Ballew, 77 of Tallapoosa.
A 51 year-old female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to a Rome hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers indicated that she was under the influence of some type of substance.
Weathers is charged with 1st degree homicide by vehicle, serious injury by vehicle, false statements and writings, DUI, giving false information to police, failure to obey traffic control devices and driving without a license
