Knowledge Justice Moore, 18 of Fort Payne, is facing felony charges after fighting with police officers while they were attempting to take him into custody for stealing shirts from the West Rome Walmart.
Reports said that the altercation began when he was approached after loss prevention said they saw him steal two shirts, valued at $7.96.
When officers approached Moore, he allegedly “swung” at them. Then, while being taken into custody, Moore allegedly damaged an officer’s taser holster and radio microphone during a scuffle.
Moore is charged with two counts felony obstruction, two counts terroristic threats and acts, theft by shoplifting and interference with government property.
