Wanda Michael Nelson, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week for driving drunk and on multiple drugs while being stopped on Martha Berry Blvd for a broken headlight.
Reports said that Nelson told officers that she had ingested multiple narcotics before they approached her car, a 1970 Chevrolet Camero.
A search also led police to find suspected methamphetamine in her pants. An open bottle of liquor was also found underneath her driver’s seat.
Nelson is charged with possession of meth, DUI, driving on a suspended license, headlight violation, open container and operation of an unregistered vehicle.
