Robert G Mitchell Coots, 68 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to comply with the requirements of being a convicted sex offender.
Reports stated that Coots failed to notify the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office of his residential move from 29 Clervue Circle to an unspecified location.
Authorities stated that Coots moved back on June 10th.
Coots is charged with failure to register as a sex offender and probation violation.
