Robert “B.J.” Piatt, Jr., 80, of White, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Born March 21, 1945, in Sidney, Ohio, he was the son of the late Robert Dean Piatt, Sr. and the late Betty Jane Weitzel Piatt. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Piatt.
B.J. was a US Navy veteran where he served honorably. He pastored several churches with his wife Rosemary by his side.
B.J. is survived by his son, Paul J. Piatt (Nina), daughters; Pam Cooksey, Lori McIntire (Scott), and Robin Piatt; grandchildren; Nate Stimson, Justin Stimson (Jessie), Brittney Stimson, Aidan Piatt, Ryland Piatt, Morgan Ritter, Madison Ritter, Logan Fricker, great-grandchildren; Ariel Stimson, Summer Stimson, Dominic Ritter, Ares Stimson, Emily Stimson, Titan Stimson, great-great grandchild, Angelo Stimson; and sister, Donna Jo Pierson Tam.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome 12:00p.m.-1:30p.m. prior to the service for visitation. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in White, Georgia.
