Richaro Daniel Flamenco Luna, Jr, 24 of Calhoun, was arrested this week after groping a woman at Walmart.
According to the police report, the woman said the incident happened around 7:15 p.m. in the kitchenware section near the pharmacy entrance of the store. The victim told police that while she was using her phone to check the price of some measuring cups when a man came up behind her and began touching her inappropriately.
She described the suspect as a Hispanic man around 22 or 23 years old, about 5’5” or 5’6” tall, with dark skin, dark hair in a short fade haircut, and a short beard. He was wearing eyeglasses, blue jeans, and a multicolored shirt with a yellow sleeve and red or orange front.
The woman said that after she turned to confront him, the man continued to touch her. She attempted to get someone’s attention, at which point the man walked away but then followed her toward the back of the store, moving quickly behind her at a distance of a couple of aisles.
After speaking with the woman, Officer Pruitt went to Walmart to investigate. Officers used surveillance footage to identify Luna as the suspect.
Luna is charged with sexual battery. .
