The Polk School District Board of Education has conducted extensive interviews for the superintendent’s position over the past few weeks. The Board has determined that Mark Lumpkin is the best-qualified person for the position.
The Board intends to take a final vote to fill the superintendent’s position at its regularly scheduled meeting on June 17, 2025, at 6:00 P.M. at the Central Office, located at 612 S. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
