A detail officer for Floyd County Public Works, Kelsey Nicole Curtis, 32 of Summerville, has been arrested for taking bribes from an inmate(s).
Reports said that Curtis was paid approximately $1,469 dollars through 36 Cashapp transaction to assist in facilitating a contraband drop.
Authorities added that inmates was attempting to sneak in tobacco, rolling papers, vapes and food into the prison.
Curtis is charged with bribery and violation of oath of office.
