Elias Felipe Perez-Rovera. 23 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he became violent and hit police officers after they stopped him for driving drunk on East 3rd Avenue.
Reports did not list the extent of the officer’s injuries.
Perz-Rivera is charged with two counts felony obstruction, misd obstruction, simple battery, simple battery against law enforcent and DUI.
