Michael Lamar Strickland, 27, Reginald W Diamond, 34, Avon Trey Grissom, 27, James Earl Edwards, 38, all of Rome, and James Colby Ray, 29 of Lindale, were arrested this week after reports said they assaulted a 53 year-old man.
Reports said that the victim was left with visible injuries to his right eye and lower lip.
All are charged with battery.
