Stanley Denard Davis, 56 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of a stop sign and an A-frame belonging to the city of Rome.
Reports stated that the items were found at his home on Eastland Court.
Davis is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
