Matthew Allen Wagner, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stalked a 39 year-old woman at her home on North Avery Road.
Police said that Wagner violated a TPO when he went to the victim’s home with “intent to harass”.
Police went on to say that Wagner fought with officers while they were attempting to place him into handcuffs.
Wagner is charged with aggravated stalking and three counts obstruction.
