Timothy Matthew Bishop Jr, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole over $620 of merchandise from the East Rome Walmart.
Police said that Biship changed labels on merchandise so that he would pay less for the items.
The total deprived Walmart out of $623.88.
The thefts occurred from February 7 to March 21, 2025.
Bishop is charged with felony shoplifting and probation violation.
