On Wednesday May 21, at 9:00 a.m., Kroger’s Atlanta Division will host a ribbon cutting ceremony and community celebration to unveil its renovations to the Riverbend Center Kroger located at 1476 Turner McCall Blvd SW in Rome. The renovation represents a $1.9 million capital investment.

“We are looking forward to celebrating with the community, our local officials and community partners,” said Tammie Young-Ennaemba, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “Every day we open our doors and welcome our customers, whether they are shopping for groceries or just looking for something that can make their lives healthier, easier, brighter and a bit lighter.”

The community will be greeted with all new artisan décor, as well as updated floral, produce, bakery and deli departments. The renovations also include interior and exterior infrastructure enhancements.

As part of the celebration, Kroger will honor its associates and community partners in education: Main Elementary School, Rome Middle School and Rome High School . Kroger will also recognize its Zero Hunger | Zero Waste partner, the Atlanta Community Bank.
