A Pepperell High School parent, Kristin Louise Womack, 44 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she failed to send her two children to school.
Reports said that between August 1, 2024 and April 25, 2025, Womack’s daughter missed 30 days of school, 20 unexcused. Police added that after Womack signed a truancy contract, the child continued to miss 10 additional days of school.
A second daughter of Womack’s missed 36 days of school, 31 of those unexcused. She like the other child missed 17 additional days of school after signing a truancy contract.
Womack is charged with two counts mandatory education of children.
